Machine Specifications and Features

The machines have all property of the bricks and this can meet or exceed the Indian standard of the bricks IS: 4139:1989 and 12894:1990
The machine has the maximum compressing strength of about 80 – 120 kg/cm2 and the curing time of the machine will take from 8 to 10 days.
The machine can handle the weight of the fly ash bricks from 2.75 to 3.25kg. However, the standard of the brick will depend on both the quantity and quality of the sand.
the water absorption of the machine is around 12 – 16% and this entirely depends on the recipe of the raw material.

These are hydraulic operated press machines needed for the qualitative making of the bricks. The machines works great producing around 1000 to 7000 bricks in just one hour. It has the fastest cycle period and it is 6 to 7 cycles per minute. The machine has the latest PLC controlled operations and it has the heavy-duty robust designing which makes brick making all easy and hassle free. The design of the machine allows the brick to get pushed into the pallets. However, the pallet can be loaded automatically with the help of the stacking mechanism. What is most interesting is that the same machine can help in the manufacturing of the fly ash brisk of both sizes of six inches and four inches. RAW MATERIALS

Fly Ash – 50 to 55%
Stone Dust -25 to 30%
Sand – 10%
Lime & Gypsum 15 to 20% or Cement – 7%

Production Process

1.fly ash bricks are manufactured by hydraulic or vibratory press.

2.raw material required are fly ash, shall conform to grade 1 or grade 2 of IS 3812 (60-65%), bottom ash used as replacement of shall not have more than 12 percent loss on ignition when tested according IS 1727, lime shall conform to class C hydrated lime of IS 712 (8-12%), gypsum(5%), locally available sand/stone dust (18-27%) and water.

3.ordinary Portland cement can also be used in place of hydrated lime and gypsum.

4.raw materials in the required proportion are mixed in the pan mixer to have asemi dry uniform mix.

5.semi dry mixture is placed in the mould of hydraulic / vibration press.

6.moulded bricks are air dried for one/two days in a shed depending upon the weather conditions and then, submerged in the water for 48 hrs then after water cured for 14-21 days.

7.the bricks thus produced are sound, compact and uniform in shape.
